On December 1st, 1918 Iceland became a sovereign state. To celebrate 100 years of sovereignty, we painted one of our aircraft in the colors of the Icelandic flag. For more than 80 years, Icelandair has taken part in shaping Iceland’s history, connecting different worlds, bringing opportunities and broadening horizons.
